Living in No Mans Land

I sometimes think in terms of parenting experience as I am a man in the country. When you have a funny place (the first being born without children) to the adoption. You do not have to treat pregnancy and childbirth stories. You can not honestly say "it looks very much like his father's." Also, if you adopt older children as we did - old school already, you nursery, preschool through years of friendship is not made with other parents that the school's all-important first day.

Of course it's not all negative - the sleepless nights and my friends I am so happy to change nappies than I remember some of the stories! Of course my friends who are childless it difficult concept to understand the struggle with the loss of around did not. This is something I never would have been able to relate to either. I know people who have struggled, but we certainly never as sensitive to others when we ourselves are not part of those experiences! Why you may ask why these ramblings? Well I always no man's land where we are not like other children of our children, but am conscious of living. We are like all other parents, but no. Many times it is not a problem and it's the second time.

Some years I land a man (I'm still learning) have learned to enjoy the scenery has been here. There are good things here. New people and now my journey through adoption that I otherwise would never have met friends, flexibility and grace I found myself in that I knew I was never your kids to make something good for a great purpose of trying out something bad. Some ways we and our friends who have children born that they might see on a man's land could not understand at all - but it is a belief that we really can not. I bet if you struggle with your own children you find that they sometimes feel lonely they talked - you training and a manual to guide you when you do not get born children. We all think it is worth it is often difficult to identify.

So today, wherever you are - whether you feel the intensity of the desert no man's land or not - look around and gifts that are here for you to see places as well as hard to accept. It's easy to find help and support you can accept that things are not always a bed of roses. Who knows no man's land you can find a rare gem here!
